Welcome to the New and Improved
RESTLESS NATIVES
Thanks for dropping into RestlessNatives.net, our personal website. We built
RN mainly as a place to tell about our travels and
display our photographs. And we've collected an assortment
of links and oddities for your perusal, too.
Most of the site is sadly neglected, but we do manage the occasional update.
Note: if you are having trouble viewing these pages, or they're ugly, try
reading our FAQ.

Caliendo Impressions -- video; maybe the best impressionist we've seen
safespeed.org.uk, motorists.org,
abd.org.uk, aussiemotorists.com,
and others have exposed lies/myths about speeding and speed cameras. Not that
reality matters when government propaganda and lazy policing are so lucrative.
[As always, these links may offend you, kill your computer, and so on; you
click them entirely at your own risk.]

Useless knowledge
Life
thrives even in the mud at the bottom of the deepest part of the oceans,
the Challenger Deep. Scientists have also "found bacteria living miles
beneath the Earth's surface and snuggled up to scalding hydrothermal vents
on the ocean floor. There is even evidence that bacteria live in Antarctic
lakes that have been covered by ice for thousands of years."
Quotes
"I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom
of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by
violent and sudden usurpations."
-- James Madison
"The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men
of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding."
-- Louis Brandeis
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never
stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither
do we."
-- G. W. Bush
